I think this was previously mentioned by someone at one of the monthly zoom calls.
The various popup dialogues on the GM screen (Maintenance, Reset error, feedback, custom hint, host messages) prevent the GM from being able to see the cameras, because the dialogue box is centred to the middle of the screen and because it applies a shading effect to the remainder of the screen when opened.
My suggestion would be to have it open in the sidebar instead (as a tab, like objectives, log, audio, upcoming). Second best would be the option to drag the popup dialogue around the screen so that the GM can at least still see the cameras while typing.
Likewise, when the host sends the GM a message, it covers the screen and applies the shading effect so they can’t see their game. It happened to me recently where I was the GM and was sent a message while I was in the middle of typing a custom hint. I quickly dismissed the message after a cursory glance to continue typing the hint because the players were waiting. I couldn’t find any way to retrieve the message so had to ask the host to send it again. So as with the other popups the same way my suggestion would be to put messages in a sidebar tab. They could still play the audio notification, and default to opening that tab when a message is received. Message history on this screen would also be really helpful.
